Dr. Amin completed residency training at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is currently Certified by the American Board of Surgery. His interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic treatment of obesty, intra-abdominal malignancy, colon and rectal pathology, and hernia repair. Dr. Amin also serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Southern Maryland Hospital Center.Dr. Balkissoon is a general surgeon who has been in practice in the metro D.C. area for over 30 years. He is currently Certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr Balkissoon's interests include endocrine and breast surgery. Dr. Balkissoon is Chairman of the Department of Surgery at United Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
